Hi, I'm Lesha. Welcome to 4:14 Photography!

A native of Mebane, NC, my home was built on the land my grandparents once farmed. My studio is here as well. I guess you could say, my roots are deep.

After over a decade in a very rewarding career as an interior and architectural designer, I became a stay at home mom. My daughter, EstherGrace, was born with a love for being in front of the camera. I discovered that I loved being behind it and opened my studio full time in Jan, 2020. It's such a gift to be able to capture the most fleeting moments in life. I've been able to use my skills for design to produce images that are both creative and timeless. It's my desire that every person that steps in front of my lens feels joy, feels loved, and feels beautiful.

People often ask what I specialize in. The truth is—I don’t believe life’s most meaningful moments belong in separate boxes. I love telling the entire story. From the excitement of maternity, to those tiny newborn details, first birthdays and cake smashes, family milestones, senior year, and even the day you say “I do,” it’s an incredible privilege to walk alongside my clients through every season of life. Many of the families you see throughout my portfolio have trusted me for years, and there is no greater compliment than being invited back to preserve the next chapter of their story.

One of my favorite parts of this journey is building lasting relationships with the families I serve. Watching babies grow into toddlers, then into confident kids and teenagers, allows me to photograph them with a level of comfort and authenticity that only comes through trust. Children don’t see me as a stranger with a camera—they see a familiar face, and that makes all the difference. The genuine smiles, playful laughter, warm hugs, and natural moments you’ll see throughout my work are the result of relationships built over time, not rushed sessions.

My goal has never been to photograph just one milestone—it’s to become the photographer your family returns to, year after year, creating timeless images that tell your legacy for generations to come. There’s no greater honor than being invited back to celebrate life’s biggest moments and preserve the memories that become part of your family’s story.
